Fine artist. Painter, draftsman.

There is that one kind of day, one kind of moment. The weather is so perfect, not that it’s sunny, it is just wonderfully poetic. That burning summer day when I know everyone is sleeping or standing in the middle of nowhere just staring at the raging cloud like dark waves swallowing me in my imagination. And there’s that one moment that silent hits, not that there is no sound, it’s just the momentary serenity hits you like never before. Every thought freeze in that moment, and you know it is never going to be that way again. Everything seems almost otherworldly. And my work is about chasing that kind of moment.

Xi Wu is a Philadelphia based observational painter and draftsman. Wu mostly works with landscape and figures in a symbolic manner that creates a surreal sensation.
